The G4, Inter-regional Health Science Centre
The G4 is one of the first groups of inter-regional health cooperation, formed at the initiative of 4 Hospital Centres in the Northwest inter-region of France (Lille, Amiens, Rouen and Caen) in 2001. Defined as “a laboratory for pooling energies and ideas” it is designed to address the critical inter-regional issues involving trends in medical demography, the development of technical platforms, medical innovation and research potential. It strives to promote a common medical project on targeted topics such as personalized treatment of cancer.
Rouen is network leader in the following research topics: HIV, heart failure, paediatrics, digestive oncology, urologic oncology and endometriosis.
